The good participation and the good weather marked the day in an event that had solidarity as a flag. The course of Lo Romero Golf, Pilar de la Horadada – Alicante, hosted last June 1st, the Solidarity Golf Tournament for the benefit of the Dar de Sí Foundation, a tournament that has already become a benchmark in the Valencian Community.
The solidarity reference of the event had as a meeting point to support a charitable cause that the Dar de Sí Foundation has been developing for years; it is the construction of a residence for people with functional diversity. For this reason, the tournament has had numerous collaborators such as Lo Romero Golf itself, the restaurant El Rincón de Joaquín or Banco Mediolanum, from the banking world. In second position were Ángel Estudillo in first category and Francisco Sánchez Valdepeñas in second category. Special prizes went to Thomas Goring for the longest driver and Luis Yravedra for the closest ball on the 12th hole.
Both the first and second classified were awarded with two passes to experience the LIV Golf Tour to be held in July at the Real Club Valderrama course in Cádiz. In addition, everyone received a hotel voucher and a trophy as a prize. The scratch and first category winners received a sand wedge and the second category winner a titleist backpack to complement an important prize table.
All these awards were given by the hand of a large number of sponsors and collaborating companies that have joined this beautiful cause, providing gifts for the draw, where a total of 35 people won gifts including Green fees numbers.
